1. Because we need you.

Having you join the Alumni Association adds value to it, every time a new member comes on board, we become capable of greater and greater things. I, Trevor Graeber (the current president), envision the association funding the building on The Staff Lodge, a place where the summer staff can call home instead of being spread out over Rock Creek, Lucas, and anywhere else that has space. But this building would be expensive, and isn’t within the capabilities of the Association today, but will be some time in the future if we can get enough members. So, we need you! Help us make the dream of the Staff Lodge come true, join.
2. To give back and reconnect

Riverbend holds a special place in all of our hearts. Many of us have grew up while serving at Riverbend and made friends that have lasted us a lifetime. Being a part of the association gives us an opportunity to reconnect and rekindle that bond. It also gives us the opportunity to give back to a place that taught us so much and left an impact on our lives.
3. For the future

Though our time serving at Riverbend may have ended, that is not the case for many new summer staffers. We all know that serving during the summer can be a difficult task. Being a part of the association gives us the opportunity to impact the future by blessing those serving today. We are wanting to create a culture where those summer staffers know that they are loved and cared for by those who have experienced summers in the past, so that they will want to turn around and bless those who will be serving in the future.

Be involved in the summer staff prayer team other ways you can support the current summer staff team

Be up to date on Alumni gatherings
Dues Paying Member
For just $10 a year, you become a fully fledged member of the alumni, entitling you to one vote any time alumni business requires it. This also gives you a voice when aspects of the constitution are undergoing review, and gives the association enough money to cover incidentals.

Voting rights during committee meetings

Ability to participate in a committee or executive board
Leadership Team
Actively chart the course for the Association by running for election on the Executive Board or asking for membership on one of our fine committees. You MUST be a dues paying member to run for office or participate on a committee board.
